In the course of the activities which we conduct as a Notified Body, we prepare so-called EMC Expertises or also technical reports. Technical reports document that the legal requirements of a product have been observed, even in the event that no harmonized standards have come into effect. This is always the case if no standardized norms can be made use of as a basis, for example, for new products.
In the case of such a 'reactive standardization' it is important to be able to involve a qualified, experienced partner as a Notified Body, in order to obtain a really qualified assessment. Only in this way can manufacturers obtain a legally assured answer to the question as to whether the product in question can be launched on the market in the scheduled application with the respective status quo.
