TESTING ELECTRICAL SAFETY
COMBI-TESTS REDUCE COSTS
The CE symbol is the 'passport' for your product throughout the European Union. If a device is to be declared as conforming with the CE norm, of course, the electrical equipment safety must also be proved. The EMC Competence Center also conducts these tests in its special laboratory which has been equipped according to latest technical standards and thanks to its VDE recognition, guarantees international testing standards. Testing is thereby conducted on precisely the scale which is necessary and meaningful in the specific case. In addition to full inspections with all the necessary tests, therefore, the service portfolio also includes 'slimmed down' packages, for example, if components which have already been tested are used.
With the ‘Electrical Equipment Safety’ division under the EMC C.C. umbrella, our customers can benefit from significant time and cost savings. As a rule, tests of the electrical safety are time-consuming and costly. This expenditure, however, can be considerably reduced by commissioning the EMC Competence Center with the work, since the testing of electrical safety can be carried out at the same time as the EMC testing.
